THE JOURNEY, DAY BY DAY

What the days can look like.

The outline is a starting point. Stops, timing, accommodation and activities are confirmed in the final itinerary and quotation.

01

Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Cross the High Atlas, visit Aït Ben Haddou and continue through Ouarzazate and the Skoura oasis towards Boumalne Dadès.

Overnight: Dades Valley
02

Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga

Discover the Todra Gorge and continue through Erfoud and Rissani to Merzouga. Arrive in time for the dunes and the evening desert atmosphere.

Overnight: Desert camp near Erg Chebbi
03

A full day in the Merzouga area

Keep the day flexible for the dunes, a visit to Khamlia or an optional 4x4 excursion. The second night is in the same Merzouga area, avoiding an unnecessary camp change.

Overnight: Desert camp or desert accommodation near Merzouga
04

Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes

Leave early for the northbound journey through the Ziz Valley and Middle Atlas. This is a long transfer day, with arrival in Fes generally expected in the late afternoon or evening depending on stops and road conditions.
