Cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, visit Aït Ben Haddou and continue through Ouarzazate and Skoura to the Dades Valley. This is a full scenic travel day with stops along the route.
Overnight: Dades ValleyTravel through the Dades landscapes and visit Todra Gorge before continuing via Erfoud and Rissani to Merzouga. Arrive in time for the dunes and the evening desert atmosphere.
Overnight: Merzouga / Erg ChebbiKeep the day for the Erg Chebbi area. Optional experiences such as Khamlia, local visits or a 4x4 excursion can be arranged in advance. The second night is spent in the Merzouga area.
Overnight: Merzouga / Erg ChebbiLeave early for the northbound journey through the Ziz Valley and Middle Atlas. This is a long transfer day; arrival in Fes depends on road conditions and the number of stops.
Overnight: FesUse the final day for a guided visit to the historic medina and its traditional craft quarters. A local licensed guide and monument entries should be confirmed in the final quotation. The journey ends in Fes.

Depart Fes early and cross the Middle Atlas through Ifrane and Midelt. Continue through the Ziz Valley to Merzouga. This is a substantial driving day with short scenic stops.
Overnight: Merzouga / Erg ChebbiEnjoy time around Erg Chebbi, with optional local visits or a 4x4 excursion arranged in advance. Spend a second night in the Merzouga area.
Overnight: Merzouga / Erg ChebbiTravel west through Rissani and the palm groves around Tinghir. Stop at Todra Gorge before continuing to Boumalne Dadès.
Overnight: Dades ValleyFollow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through the Rose Valley and Skoura. Continue to Ouarzazate, allowing time for selected stops along the way.
Overnight: OuarzazateVisit Aït Ben Haddou and cross the High Atlas to Marrakech. Arrival time depends on stops, traffic and conditions over the mountain pass. The journey ends in Marrakech.
